David Ray Malone's Obituary
David Ray Malone, 68, of Ironton, OH, passed away on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at Community Hospice in Ashland, KY. Born on May 8, 1957, in Huntington, WV, he was the son of the late Ray and Thelma Gast Malone. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Gary Malone and his great-grandson, Kaden Malone. David worked for Malone Mobile Home Sales in South Point, OH, for most of his life. He had a love for helping others and enjoyed old cars, especially his 67 Dodge Coronet RT. David will be remembered for his great sense of humor and his wealth of knowledge; there was nothing he didn’t know and there was nothing he couldn’t fix. David is survived by his wife, Valerie Malone; children, Melissa Lewis, Amanda Malone, Nikki (Chase) Malone, and Natalie (Luke) Robbins; grandchildren, Lexi, Alyssa, Jasmine, Selena, Kaidyn, Blake, Morayah, Delaney, Marcus, Bryson, who was papa’s sidekick, Jaidyn, and Kinsley; 7 great-grandchildren; siblings, Susan Malone, Marilyn (Jay) Rickard, Diane Lawson, Angie Murphy, and Jeffrey (Christine) Minor, and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. A Memorial Gathering will be held from 3:00-5:00 P.M. on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, OH.
