David Matthew Moore's Obituary
David Matthew Moore, 58, of Proctorville, Ohio left this world and returned to his heavenly home on June 5, 2024. He was born on August 31, 1965, at the old Ironton Hospital to James L Moore and Elizabeth Reynolds Moore. He was preceded in death by his parents, and both maternal and paternal grandparents. He is survived by his loving wife, Julie Moore, stepdaughters Katie Fulks (JC) and Sara May (Daniel), 2 step-grandchildren, daughter. Krysta and her 2 children, brother Mark Moore, sister Marie Maynard, special Aunt Dottie Reynolds, special brother and sister-in-law Terry and Elizabeth Tucker. Also, nephews, cousins and Aunt Wilma Jean in Louisville, KY. He is leaving many friends. He was known as Matthew by many. He grew up in Lawrence County, attended Fairland schools and he spent most of his adult life living in Lawrence County. Matthew was an amazing mechanic by trade and loved to work on anything with a motor and wheels. He overcame a severe injury and operated auto repair shops over the years. He ultimately built his own shop at his home, and he spent many happy hours doing what he loved best. Matthew loved to reminisce about his growing years. He was no angel but as he grew as a person and embraced the love of Christ, he did a lot of good in this world. His one regret is not getting to fully connect with his daughter whom he loved dearly. Matthew loved all animals and his earthly pets sorely miss him. His funeral service will be preached by his dear friend, Walter Wood on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. Visitation will be held 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 8, 2024, at the funeral home. Condolences may beexpressed to the family at www.ehallfuneralhome.com.
