David Lee Morton's Obituary
DAVID LEE MORTON, 85, of Culloden, WV was born January 14, 1938, to the late Emory Lee and Vada Irene Morton in Milton, WV. David passed peacefully at Saint Mary's Medical Center in Huntington, WV on Saturday, January 14, 2023. David is survived by his wife Roberta Lee Morton, formerly of Proctorville, OH; his three children and their spouses, son Ronny Lee and Lyn Morton of Rainier, WA, daughter Rene' Lynn and Greg Nevens of Fredericksburg, VA., Rodney Lowell and Barbara Morton of Los Lunas NM; three step children and spouses, Ronny (deceased) and Glenna Shaw, Clarksville, GA., Michael and Ginger Warden of TN., Robert and Diane Ball of Lakeland FL., four grandchildren, Kyra, Amber (Day), Alyssa and Cody; five step- grandchildren; Jacob, Rhea, Kira, Christopher and Meagan; five great-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren. David was a former USAF Veteran and Professional Truck driver with over I million miles of safe driving with various companies till the age of 81 where he fully retired from H&W and World Wide Equipment. He was a member of Teamsters and IBEW where he operated heavy equipment for a number of years. He had a passion for farming, raising cattle and hay. He looked forward to deer hunting every year with family and friends. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Hall Funeral Home & Crematory in Proctorville, OH.
