David will be greatly missed, i so enjoyed our evening talks in front of the staff house fire place after a day of electrical and paint. His passion for camp and love for the evangelistic outreach was so evident. i look forward to more conversations with him in Eternity

Family camping with our grandparents and with Aunt Cora and Uncle Bill are memories of times with cousin Davy. We played games and were rough and tumble as kids and then we grew up to play board and card games. Story telling was always a Withers pass time. We learned about who we were and where we came from. Lots of laughs and lessons learned. All my love to the family and especially Barbara. So sorry for your loss. A gift has been given to Camp Cowen.

I will miss Dave so much. We had some great times at church camp in the 70s, 80s and the again in the 2000s. He was great fun to be around, a great friend and had immeasurable impact on the campers and the camp at Cowen, WV.
