Delores Louise Donahoe's Obituary
Delores Louise Donahoe, 80, of Huntington, WV, went to God on Sunday, September 7, 2025, after a long illness. Born on December 13, 1944, in Huntington, WV, she was the daughter of the late Marcus Oscar Adkins and Wanda Harris. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Gary (Terry) Adkins. Delores was born and raised in Huntington, WV. She was a graduate of Huntington High School and attended Marshall University for her BA and her master’s in Theology at United Theological Seminary in Dayton Ohio. She is survived by her daughters, Kimberly A. (Michael) Porter, of Carlisle, OH, Denise L. (Brian) Hiester of Venice, FL, and Sherrie (Rob) Hagley of Indianapolis, IN; grandchildren, Candis Mathis, Robert and Jess Hagley, Brandi and Danny Chatterton, Danne Vance, Sam Lawson, and Baylie Porter, and Brooke and Nathan Kamphaus; great-grandchildren, James Napier, Ashlyn Chatterton, Peyton Mathues, Palmer Chatterton, Lilly Mathis, Scottlyn Chatterton, Charles Lawson, and baby Cora Kamphaus; former spouse, Kenneth Donahoe; sisters, Teri Carter and Vickie Carter of Huntington; her sister-in-law, Betty Douglas of KY; nieces and nephews, Nadia Carter, Jason Johnson, Nautica Carter and Aaliyah Fisher, Alexis Adkins, Kristi (Billy), Brody, Jaxson Seals, Gregg Hanna, and Dacoda Hanna, and very special nieces, Lisa Taylor, Brianna, Autumn, Deloria Lamm. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, OH, with Pastor Brady Lipscomb, officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow at Mt. Vernon Cemetery in Wayne, WV. Condolences may be expressed to the family at ehallfuneralhome.com
