Delores Jean Maynard's Obituary
Delores Jean Maynard, 76, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away on December 17, 2025, at Akron General Hospital in Akron, Ohio. She was born to the late Clarence and Ruth Adkins Barker on June 18, 1949, in Huntington, West Virginia. She was also preceded in death by her son John F. Riley. She is survived by 4 sisters, Sue Duna of South Point, Ohio, Linda Mann of Ona, West Virginia, Sandra Pettaway of Huntington, West Virginia, and Debbie Woodard of Ceredo, West Virginia, 2 brothers Sonny Barker of St. Cloud, Florida, and Bobby Barker of Proctorville, Ohio, and several nieces and nephews. She was a registered nurse for 42 years and retired from Mildred-Mitchell Bateman Hospital in Huntington, West Virginia. A funeral service and visitation will be held in the mausoleum at Ridgelawn Memorial Park in Huntington, West Virginia visitation will be held from 1:00-1:30 and the funeral service to follow on December 22, 2025.
