Demia Kathleen Jarrell, 87 of Jacksonville, FL, formerly of Huntington, W.Va. passed away Wednesday November 20, 2019 at Fouraker Hills Health Center and Rehab. She was born on November 23, 1931 to the late Jennings and Vada Olivia Swann in Milton, W.Va. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elwood McComas; brothers Preston, Cecil, Basil, and Charles Swann; sisters, Elsie McComas, Judy Barqery, and Susy Swann; a daughter, Barbara Carroll; sons, Jackie, Robert, and Kenny McComas. She is survived by one brother, Calvin Swann of Huntington, W.Va.; five sons, Elwood of NC, Carl of Cincinnati, OH, Ronnie of Huntington, W.Va, Donald, and Mark McComas of Huntington, W.Va.; three daughters, Brenda Zirkle of Hayenville, OH, Bonnie Ramsey of FL, Sandra Skaggs of Huntington, W.Va.; daughters in law, Jane, Linda, Donna, and Chrissy McComas; sons in law, Bob Munro and Mike Skaggs; many grandchildren, Angel and Ray Brozoski, Angela and Larry Leake, Brenda Ratcliff, Alisha, Becky, Jackie, and Jason McComas, Kendra, Jody, Wayne, and Angel Miller, Jeromy, Beth, Tara, Emily, Erica, and Linda Payne, Danielle, and David Zirkle, as well as many great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday November 27, 2019 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. Burial will follow at Locust Grove Cemetery, Willow Wood, Ohio.
