Denise R. Meadows Ison, 48, of Hanging Rock, Ohio, born in Columbus, Ohio on February 7, 1969. She is survived by her father Clayton J. (Freda) Meadows of Ironton, Ohio; mother Darlene Meadows of Hanging Rock, Ohio; brother Clayton J. (Lisa) Meadows of Flatwoods, KY; sisters Sherry (Barry) Hazelton of Trinity, NC, and Treva (Robert) Morning of Thomasville, NC; grandfather Earl Thomas of South Point; aunt C.J. Meadows of Flatwoods, KY; special aunt Robin of Huntington, WV. She was preceded in death by her grandmother Edna Thomas; grandfather Clayton J. Meadows, Sr.; and aunts Judy Munro and Una Jordon. She graduated from Dawson Bryant High School in 1992. She will be missed by all who knew her. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday April 25, 2017 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio by Brother James Cremeans. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery, Ironton, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday April 25, 2017 at the funeral home.
