Dennis Lane Bradley's Obituary
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Dennis Lane Bradley, a dedicated educator, loving husband and father, and faithful servant. Dennis went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, July 2, 2026. He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Neil Hamilton Bradley and Rata Mullins Bradley; and sister, Kathleen Bradley Hillier Hurt. He devoted his life to his family and his community. Dennis was a pillar of strength and wisdom. He bravely answered the call of duty proudly serving in the United State Marines Corps during the Vietnam War. Following service, he returned home to build a beautiful life. He is a graduate of Marshall University and was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha. He served as the principal at Buffalo High School for many years, touching countless lives before retiring. Beyond the classroom, Dennis enjoyed playing golf and attending Marshall University football and basketball games. He was a devoted member of the Rotary Club of Kenova serving a term as President. Above all, he loved being a papaw. He spent his happiest moments making memories with his grandchildren. His warm hugs, smile, and life lessons will be missed every single day. Dennis leaves behind a beautiful legacy of faith and love. He is survived by his wife, Beverly Jan Bradley (Stephens); his daughter, Michelle Bradley; his adored grandchildren, Emilie Hoosier, Chloe Hoosier, and Max Hoosier; his sister, Cheryl Reeser (Bradley) and her husband William Reeser; his nephews, Bradley Reeser, Bryan Reeser, Jim Hillier, Joe Hillier; and his niece Jamie Etherington (Hillier). He is also survived by many close friends and extended family members. A service to celebrate his life will be held on Monday, July 13, 2026, at 1:00pm. Visitation will commence at 12:00pm. The visitation and service will be at Hall Funeral Home, located at 625 County Road 775, Proctorville, Ohio 45669. All who knew and loved him are invited to come and share their memories.
