Derek Jerome Buckner, 43, of Huntington, WV, passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2022. He was born on December 12, 1978, in Huntington, WV. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Minnie and Lorenzo Canady; paternal grandparents Evangeline and John Mabry; one brother Brian Canady; and Father Robert Mabry. He is survived by his mother Stella Fletcher (Ray); one brother Ronnell Buckner; one sister Courtney Mabry; two children Derek Jerome Buckner Jr. and Kammille Buckner; loving companion Sabrina Stubblefield; special uncle Ronnie Buckner; special aunts Billy Jean Fears and Delores Canady; several nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews. There will be a memorial service held at 11 am on Saturday August 6, 2022 at Glorious Church of God in Christ, 1665 10th Ave Huntington, WV with Bishop Gary Brydie officiating, Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, OH is assisting the family.
