Derrick Tyler McCormick, 36, of Huntington, WV, went to Heaven on Saturday February 10, 2024 at home. He was born March 21, 1987 in Huntington, WV. He was preceded in death by his father Rick McCormick; two brothers Ricky Aaron and Rusty McCormick; maternal grandparents Paul and Francis Stephens; and paternal grandparents Damer and Edna McCormick. Derrick is survived by his mother Joyce Clark; seven children Makenzie Ferguson, Morgan, Reagan, Logan, Wyatt, McKayla and Colt McCormick; one grandson Zayne; three sisters Brittney, Jackie, and Halley; one brother Ricky McCormick, Jr., two uncles; and several aunts and cousins. Funeral service will be held 4 p.m. Saturday February 17, 2024 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. Burial will follow in Miller Memorial Gardens Miller, Ohio. Visitation will be held 3 to 4 p.m. Saturday February 17, 2024 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with expenses.
