Dewey Clayton Davis, Jr., 66, of Chesapeake, Ohio passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, WV. He was born March 12, 1953 in Cabell County, WV son of the late Dewey, Sr and Deloris Lambert Davis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Randy Davis. He is survived by his wife, Lois Davis; two step sons Michael Dotson and Mark Dotson both of Chesapeake, Ohio; six grandchildren Ashley, Calla, Brianna, David, Brandon and Brevin; one great granddaughter Maycie; siblings Paula Wilson, Vickie Davis, Lewis Michael Davis and Tammy Faye all of Chesapeake, Ohio; and brother-in-law Kenny (Beverly) Belcher. He was a member of Apostolic Life Cathedral, Huntington, WV. Funeral service will be conducted 7 p.m. Friday, June 21, 2019 at Apostolic Life Cathedral, Huntington, WV with Rev. E. S. Harper officiating with visitation being held two hours prior to the service also at the church. Private burial will take place in Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller, Ohio.
