Dewey Clayton Davis Sr.'s Obituary
DEWEY CLAYTON DAVIS, SR., 84, of Chesapeake, OH, died Thursday, October 15, 2015, in Sunset Nursing Center in Coal Grove, OH. Funeral service will be 11 AM Tuesday, October 20, 2015, at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home with Pastor Eddie Parsons officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Burlington, OH. Dewey was born October 25, 1930, in Cabell Co., WV, a son of the late Louis Clayton and Hazel Faye Burgess Davis. He was a retired electrician. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Delorise Lambert Davis; his grandson, Randy Davis; and his three sisters, Gladys Singer, Maxine West, and Betty Vess. Dewey is survived by his five children, Dewey Clayton (Lois) Davis, Jr., Pauletta Wilson, Vickey Davis, Lewis Michael Davis, and Tammy Faye (Roger) Myers; nine grandchildren, Christina Adkins, Tomi Sue Perry, Jason Wilson, Angela Walls, Kristal Gillum, Oscar Pratt, Mark Dotson, Michael Dotson, and Summer Short; nine great grandchildren; and a special friend, Steven Black.
