Dexter Allen Poe's Obituary
Dexter Allen Poe, 59, of Huntington, WV passed away Thursday, September 20, 2018 at St. Marys Medical Center, Huntington, WV. He was born October 28, 1958 in Huntington, WV son of the late Joseph Poe and Elizabeth Duncan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five siblings Caroline (Walter) Prichard, Darlene Marshall, Bobby Poe, Betty Poe and Wanda Poe. He is survived by three children Josh (Ladonna) Poe, Elizabeth Poe and her boyfriend J.R. Cade, and Rebecca (Kenny) Ross; two brothers Patrick (Ardella) Poe and Danny (Linda) Poe; grandchildren Summer (Dylan) Pelletier, Mariah Hyder, Chase Cade, Austin Poe, Dalton Poe, Destiny Poe, Carlie Hyder and Luke Ross; one great grandchild on the way; a special nephew Danny Michael (Kelly) Poe; neighbors Larry (Mary) Wilson and Howard (Carol) Sparks; and the love of his life and mother of his children Debbie Poe Davis. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, September 23, 2018 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
