Dolores Bernice Weber's Obituary
Dolores B. Weber, 96, of Chesapeake, Ohio passed away Monday December 11, 2023 at home. She was born July 9, 1927 to the late Russell and Beaulah Chapman Melton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers James and Robert Melton; son-in-law Robert Warner; and great granddaughter Kallie Anna Rankin. Dolores grew up in Frazier's Bottom, WV and graduated from Marshall University in 1950. She taught K-8th in West Virginia, Ohio, and Colorado for 42 years then retiring in December 2002. She raised two children alone in Colorado. She is survived by her son John Weber of Denver, Colorado; daughter Janette Warner of Chesapeake, Ohio; two grandchildren Raeshelle Nichols and Kristen (Joshua) Beller; great grandchildren Nathan, Ethan, Jayden, Lukas, and Madalyn. Dolores was a devout Christian that tried to help others in need. A private family graveside service will be held at Frazier's Bottom Cemetery, Frazier's Bottom, WV. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Community Mission Outreach, 911 Rockwood Avenue, Chesapeake, Ohio 45619.
