Donald D. Christian, 60, of Chesapeake, Ohio passed away Sunday, September 25, 2016 at St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington, WV. He was born May 10, 1956 in Huntington, WV son of the late Ivan and Pauline Christian. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a step son Jesse Worthington; and grandson Brian Booth, II. He is survived by his wife Connie; two daughters Stephanie Christian of South Point, Ohio and Martha Watson of Proctorville, Ohio; four grandchildren including two special grandsons Landon and Nicholas Watson; two step sons; and five step grandchildren. He was a member of Perkins Ridge Church for the last 18 years. Don was a member of Windsor Fire Department since 1975 and served as Fire Chief since 1984, he also graduated from Symmes Valley High School in 1974. He was a retired EMT from Southeast Ohio EMS and also worked as a dispatcher, he worked at ACF Industries, Loomis Fargo and Lawrence County 911. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, September 29, 2016 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Billy Markin. Burial will follow in Perkins Ridge Cemetery, Willow Wood, Ohio. Visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at the funeral home.
