Donald Howard Freeman's Obituary
Donald Howard Freeman, 87, of South Point, Ohio passed away Thursday, December 15, 2016 at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, WV. He was born March 9, 1929 in Ironton, Ohio son of the late Ernest and Iva Flora Freeman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Roberta Faye Wellman Freeman; one brother; and two sisters. He retired from Allied Chemical. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and spending time with family, gardening and woodworking. He is survived by two daughters Jane Snodgrass of Circleville, Ohio and Donna Maniskas (Eric) of Wilmington, NC; and one son Michael Freeman of South Point, Ohio; six grandchildren; six step grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; eight step great grandchildren; one step great great grandchild; brother-in-law Danny Wellman of Catlettsburg, KY; sister-in-law Patricia Stollings Freeman of Parkersburg, WV; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, December 19, 2016 at Schneider-Hall Funeral Home, Chesapeake, Ohio with Pastor Terry Noble officiating. Burial will follow in Burlington Greenlawn Cemetery, South Point, Ohio. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
