Donald Eugene Raines' Obituary
Donald "Don" Eugene Raines, 76, of Huntington, WV, husband of Carolyn Clinton Raines, passed away on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at St. Mary's Medical Center. He was born September 3, 1945 in Huntington, WV. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Lester Raines; two sons, John Blaylock and Danny Blaylock; and one brother, Lee Raines. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Sheila (Jared) Burcham of Huntington, WV; a niece whom he raised Corey Booton; two grandchildren, Preston Cutler and Lacee Kelley; six great-grandchildren; three brothers, Bobby Raines, Jack Raines, and Jim Raines, all of South Point, Ohio; three sisters, Bertha Pinson of Kenova, WV, Sue Newman of Huntington, WV, and Linda Fulton of Huntington, WV; several nieces and nephews. He was retired from Owens Illinois after 28 years of service. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, November 26, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio.
