Donald Ray Ruggles' Obituary
Donald Ray Ruggles, 78, of Chesapeake, OH, passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at his residence. He was born October 4, 1944 to the late Carl and Lillian Thacker Ruggles. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Alice Martin Ruggles; two sisters, Brenda Dingus and Shelbie Hughes; a brother, Carl Ruggles Jr. Mr. Ruggles was a Veteran of the US Army. He is survived by four daughters, Donna Ruggles Boster (Ray) of Florida, Elizabeth Ruggles (Stevie) of Chesapeake, OH, Becky Ruggles Neal (Richard) of South Point, OH, Audriana Ruggles Henry (Will) of Chesapeake, OH; two sons, Danny Ruggles (Tonya) of Florida and Montana Ruggles of Chesapeake, OH; 16 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; two brothers, Roy Ruggles and Roger Ruggles both of Chesapeake, OH; two sisters, Boots Hunter and Carlene Pine both of Chesapeake, OH and numerous nieces and nephews. There will be a funeral service held at 2 p.m. on Monday, April 10, 2023 at Hall Funeral Home & Crematory in Proctorville, OH. Burial will follow at Getaway Cemetery.
