Donitta Fay Childers' Obituary
Donitta Fay Childers, 67, of Huntington, WV, went to her Heavenly Home on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington. Born on March 4, 1957, in Huntington, WV, she was the daughter of the late John and Mildred Lee Chinn Blake. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, John “Anthony” Blake. Donitta was the epitome of a true mother and grandmother and was the pillar of the family. She loved with all her heart and would stop at nothing to help someone in need. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Robert Burke Childers; children, Jonathan (Mindy) Childers and Megan (William) McDermott; grandchildren, Hartley and Delaney Childers, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and family. On March 3, 2025, she was joined by her beloved fur baby, Hank. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, Ohio, is assisting the family with arrangements.
