Dorothy Marie Saunders' Obituary
Dorothy Marie Saunders, born in Leslie, West Virginia on September 6, 1958, was the youngest daughter of Lorenzo and Blanche Williams. Dorothy Marie was a hard working woman that raised her four children in a very disciplined and God-fearing way. Our Mother in Christ provided her heart to the lord at the young age of six, and it was from there that she established an intimate relationship with Christ Jesus. Dorothy Marie was married to Pastor Tyrone Keith Saunders Sr. They soon began a life together with their four sons:Tyrone, Micah, Shaun, and John. Together Tyrone, Marie and their sons served in various church locations, until pastoring the Apostolic Cedar Sanctuary in 1997. Dorothy Marie gave her life to serving God and loving people, she was selfless, women of faith, helping anyone with food, clothes, etc. Winning souls was her passion along with catering home cooked meals and working in her restaurant toput a smile on many faces. On June 15, 2023, Marie went on to her eternal home in heaven to be with Jesus. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, June 30, 2023, at Hall Funeral Home Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, 1555 Farnsworth Drive, Charleston, WV 25301. Visitation will be held 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, June 30, 2023, at the funeral home.
