Dorothy Ann Wood's Obituary
DOROTHY ANN WOOD, 90, of Chesapeake, OH, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, May 30, 2016, in Crystal Care Center in Coal Grove, OH. Graveside service will be 11:30 AM Friday, June 3, 2016, at Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, OH with Pastor D.L. Webb officiating. Burial will follow. Dorothy was born September 3, 1925, in Huntington, WV, a daughter of the late Mark Anthony and Lucille Null Miller. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde C. Wood; one son, Clyde Daniel Wood; and one sister, Betty Lou Gray. She was a former clerk at Perry and Derrick and a member of Sybene Independent Baptist Church. Dorothy is survived by two sons and their wives, Gary and Sharon Wood, and Roger and Brenda Wood; seven grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Pauline Wood; a sister, Geneva Wyatt; two nieces; one nephew; and several great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 10 AM to 11 AM Friday at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home, Chesapeake, OH. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Sybene Independent Baptist Church.
