Dwight Ivan Waldon's Obituary
Dwight Ivan Waldon (68) of Huntington, WV passed away on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at Cabell Huntington Hospital.
Ivan was born on January 14, 1953 in Huntington, WV. He was the son of the late Alfred M. Waldon Sr. and Sonia M. Waldon (Davis). He attended Huntington High School and was a life-long resident of Huntington. Ivan had a passion for fishing and could often be found at one of his favorite fishing holes. When he wasn't fishing, you could find him playing pool and hanging out at the pool hall, which was another one of his passions.
While in the hospital a visit from Pastor Woods, led him to reaffirm his faith and accept Jesus as his personal sevior.
Ivan was preceded in death by his father Alfred M Waldon Sr. and his sister Olivia L. Camp. His memory will be cherished by many, including his mother, Sonia M. Waldon; four sons: Kevin Wooding, Tony Wooding, Dwight Waldon, and Clifton Waldon; two siblings: Alfred M. Waldon, Jr. and Josette (Rev. Reginald) Hill, both of Huntington, WV; a very special friend: Sarah Kathrlyn "Kat" Miller, and a host of family and friends.
Rest in Heaven Ivan, the celestial shores are far superior than any fishing pond on earth.
