Earl C. Turner's Obituary
Earl C. Turner, 85, of Scottown, Ohio passed away Saturday January 20, 2018 at home. He was born August 20, 1932 in Huntington, WV to the late John and Wilma Suiter Turner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Earl Lee Turner; and three brothers Dave Turner, Henry William Turner, and Jimmie Turner. He was a member of Chesapeake American Legion and was a US Navy veteran. He was a member of Christ Community Church. He retired from AEP. Earl is survived by his wife Donna Trent Turner; one son Jeff (Patty) Turner of Tucson, AZ; six grandchildren, Dusti (Eddie) Corral, Jackie (Cortney) Ellis, Justin Turner, Brandon (Tiffany) Turner, Chase Turner, and Wade Turner; four great grandchildren; one sister Fleeta Perry of Proctorville; two brothers Jack (Patricia) Turner of Chesapeake and Eddie (Jill) Turner of Proctorville; two sisters-in-law Dixie Turner and Kay Turner; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday January 24, 2018 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio by Dr. Kermit Taylor. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday January 24, 2018 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Huntington or Gideons International. Proctorville VFW Post #6878 will conduct military graveside rites.
