Eddie Ray Hammonds, 64, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Sunday, December 22, 2019 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, WV. He was born June 29, 1955 in Logan County, WV son of the late Bill and Freda Hammonds. He is survived by his wife Carolyn Hammonds; six children Crystal (Dave) Pitts, Robin Hammonds (Matt), Lisa Hammonds, Kimberly Whitmore, Eddie, Jr (Cathy) Hammonds and Justin Moore; 18 grandchildren; three brothers William Hammonds, Denzel Hammonds and Thurman Hammonds; three sisters Freda (David) Varner, Ellen Heath and Cecilia (Darren) Worley; and a brother-in-law David Bates. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, December 27, 2019 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, WV.
