Edgar Lyle Burgess' Obituary
Edgar Lyle Burgess, 80, of Crown City, Ohio, passed away Saturday, April 29th surrounded by his family. Lyle was born April 4th, 1943. He was preceded in death by his parents Shirley and Frances Burgess. He is survived by his daughter, Rhonda (Tracy) Burgess of Gallipolis, and his sons Scott Burgess of Chesapeake, Timmy (Pam) Burgess of Crown City, Jeff (Stephanie) Burgess of Huntington, WV and Tony (Crystal) Burgess of Crown City. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, and a very special friend, Loretta Hammond. In addition to his legacy of children, Lyle is survived by his sisters Dreama McGuire of Cairo, WV and Margaret Dillon of Crown City and his brothers Paul (Thelma) Burgess of Gallipolis and Dave Burgess of Crown City. A graveside service and burial will be held 12 noon Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller, Ohio along with visitation from 11:30 a.m. to 12 noon also at Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller, Ohio.
