He was born on June 8th, 1941 to the late Walter and Brilliant Lewis.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Judy and son Chad, eight brothers - Tom, Norman, Jack, Mack, Victor, David, Danny & Charles and five sisters - Dorothy, Watseka, Patty, Wanda & Anita.
Edward is survived by two daughters, Seka (Mike) Gregor of Proctorville, OH and Cindy (Dale) Anderson of Maryville, TN; a "son", Matt Smith, who he thought of as one of his own; four grandchildren - Braelynn Gregor of Proctorville, OH and Emily, Mason & Laney Lewis of Circleville, OH along with their mother Ashley Snook; a host of nieces and nephews, including Debbie Sutcliffe whom he always shared a special bond with.
Edward was a welder by trade, and a master of his art. He retired from O-KAN Marine in 2009 where he was the superintendent. Prior to that he spent many years with Superior Marine.
He was passionate about hunting, fishing, cooking, gardening and entertaining. While he excelled at any and every thing he tried his hand at, performing was where he really shined. Edward never met a stranger and was always the life of the party. His smile and ability to make everyone laugh will be missed by many.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in Edward's honor to the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington.
