Elizabeth "Libby" Ann Adkins' Obituary
Elizabeth “Libby” Ann Mann Adkins, 86, of Ceredo, WV, passed away Friday July 3, 2026. She was born July 19, 1939, to the late Chester “Ted” Mann and Ruth Mann-Wiley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Harley Adkins, her baby Tammy Lynn Frye, children Terry L. Frye, Anita A. Earls and Eugene Adkins. Libby is survived by her son Ricky (Tina) Adkins; sister Louise (Ray) Watts; grandchildren Rickey L. Adkins, Tyler Frye, Shane Adkins, Becky Caldwell, Derrick Saunders, Christine Parsons; special nephew Kevin (Debbie) Adkins; lifelong friends Ron and Pat Lemaster and several other nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren. Libby graduated from Windsor High School, and she was a retired secretary. She attended Windsor Church, Rt. 60 Freewill Baptist, and Spruce Lick Church. Libby was a “faith filled” Christian and although she could not walk here on earth, she knew she would be walking in Heaven. Her favorite Bible reading was Ecclesiastics Chap. 3 vs. 1-14. Funeral Service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday July 9, 2026, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory Proctorville, OH with Pastor Harold Hamlin and Walter Wood officiating. Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Wednesday July 8th at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery Proctorville, OH.
