Elizabeth Ann Maynard's Obituary
It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth (Libby) Ann Moore Maynard, 61, of South Point, OH. Libby went to her heavenly home to be with the Lord on March 23, 2024 at The Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington, WV, surrounded by the love of her family after a long battle with liver disease.
Libby was born on October 23, 1962. She was a graduate of Chesapeake High School. She enjoyed cooking, going to the beach, but most of all, she loved her family.
She was preceded in death by her father Guy Edward Moore; her maternal grandparents Hazel Estep and William Estep; paternal grandparents Iola Moore and Merrile Moore; and uncles Bob Estep and Tommy Estep.
She is survived by her mother Georgia Moore Pyles of South Point, OH; son Jason (Sabrina) Patrick; daughter Tracie (Stephen) Hunt; five grandchildren Kaylee Patrick, Andrew Patrick, Hannah Patrick, Cyler (CJ) Smith, and Heidi Smith all of South Point, OH; sisters Gloria (Arthur) Suiter of Chesapeake, OH, and Sandi (Mike Hawthorne) Moore of Proctorville, OH; brother Bill (Karen) Moore of Chesapeake, OH; and uncles Larry (Rose) Estep of Chesapeake, OH, and Jimmy Estep of Huntington, WV.
Libby also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that loved her dearly.
Memorial Service will be held at 3 P.M. Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, OH. Graveside Rites to follow immediately after the service at Chesapeake Memorial Gardens on North Huntington Heights. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
