Elizabeth "Libby" Pickens' Obituary
Elizabeth “Libby” Pickens, 72, of Proctorville, OH, passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington, WV. Born on June 22, 1953, in Huntington, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Mable Smith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Pickens and her sister, Anna Marie Smith. Libby was a caring mother and grandmother. She enjoyed going to church and spending time with her granddaughters. She is survived by her children, Michael Pickens of Proctorville, OH, and Bridgette Pickens of Huntington, WV; granddaughters, Elizabeth and Beatrice Pickens; sisters, Betty White, Donna Reaves, Brenda Baker and Barbara (Tim) Stone, and her brother, Carl (Debbie) Smith. There will be no visitation. There will be a graveside service held on Friday May 23, 2025, at 11: 00 AM at Miller Memorial Gardens in Miller, OH by Pastor Gordon Simpson.
