Eloise Ruth Porter's Obituary
Eloise Ruth Porter, 91, of Proctorville, OH, passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2022, at Woodland Oaks Health Care, Ashland, KY. She was born on November 25, 1930, in Proctorville, OH. She graduated from Green Township High School in 1948. She was a retired from USPS Proctorville Brand Post Office rural mail carrier of twenty years. She was of the Methodist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents H.W. Ash and Mabel Ash; two sons infant Rodney Porter and Rick Porter; three brothers Orton, Phillip, and Lloyd Ash; and two sisters Alma Everett and Lena Johnson.
She is survived by a daughter Debbie Bell of Ashland, KY; son Jeffrey (Sharon) Porter of Barboursville, WV; three grandsons Chris (Dustee) Porter of Canton, OH, Jay (Susan) Porter of Huntington, WV, and Kent (Hailey) Marsee of Ashland, KY; two granddaughters Jessica Marsee of Ashland, KY, and DeeDee (Jordan) Carson of Virginia Beach, VA; six great-grandsons Tristan Porter of Canton, OH, Griffin Porter of Huntington, WV, Wyatt, Nolan, and Porter Carson of Virginia Beach, VA, Theo and Ezra Marsee of Ashland, KY; two great granddaughters Della Grace of Huntington, WV, Parker Marsee of Ashland, KY; and one daughter-in-law Kathy Porter of Canton, OH; and several nieces and nephews.
She was a member of G.F.W.C. and the O.F.W.C. and held several offices on the state and district level and was a life member of the Proctorville Women's Club.
Graveside Service will be held at 11:30 A.M. Friday, March 11, 2022, at Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, OH. Visitation will be held from 10:15 to 11:15 A.M. at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, OH. Condolences may be expressed to the family at ehallfuneralhome.com.
