Elsie Mae 'Tootsie' Dempsey's Obituary
Elsie Mae "Tootsie" Dempsey, 77, of Proctorville, Ohio went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 10, 2020 at Sanctuary of the Ohio Valley, Ironton, Ohio. She was born January 31, 1943 in Scottown, Ohio daughter of the late Hershel and Glenna Bowen Mann; one infant brother; three sisters, Mildred Mann, Vivian Sowards and Pauline; and daughter Beverly Maynard. She is survived by her husband Howard Dempsey; two sons David Dempsey of Scottown, Ohio and Ken (Heather) Dempsey of Athalia, Ohio; four grandchildren Amanda (Jessica) Dempsey, Randall (Megan) Dempsey, Steele, Sarah Dempsey and Lucy Dempsey; three great grandchildren Peyton, Adalynn and Ezekiel. She was a member of Windsor Methodist Church, Scottown, Ohio. Funeral service will be conducted 6 p.m. Thursday, February 13, 2020 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio with Pastor Harold Hamlin officiating.
