Erma Elizabeth Scarberry's Obituary
Erma Elizabeth Scarberry, 60, of Huntington, WV, went home to be with the Lord on January 14, 2022, at St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington, WV, due to natural causes. She was born on November 16, 1961, in Huntington, WV. Erma is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Billy Scarberry of Huntington, WV.
She is also survived by her daughter Amy Lynn (Charles "Chucky") Thacker of Huntington, WV; son Brian Keith (Jamie Renee) Scarberry of Huntington, WV; daughter Melody Linton (David) Adkins of Columbus, OH; thirteen grandchildren Shieanne Scarberry, Heaven Scarberry, Bradley Joe Scarberry II, Pachance Scarberry, Alec Jenkins, Destiny Pratt, Taylor Thacker, Brooklynn Thacker, Jessica Vanblarcume, Bryson Scarberry, Aiden Scarberry, Mariah Price, and Dylan PettyJohn; six great grandchildren Nicholas Lucas II, Everly Lucas, Brai'Lee Bake, Baby Jax Baker, Jeremiah Barker II, and baby; sister Brenda Kay (Charles) King of Huntington, WV; and brothers Billy Keith (Debbie) Chapman of South Point, OH, and Danny Lee (Tammy) Chapman of Huntington, WV.
Beth was a funny, kind, loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She cared for everyone she knew and was a kind soul to everyone and helped so many. Erma was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her whole family and all her friends.
Erma was preceded in death by her mother Bonnie Faye Chapman/ O'Brian and father Billy Chapman of Huntington, WV; son Bradley Joe Scarberry of Huntington, WV; and nephews Joshua Cain Chapman and Shawn Patrick King both of Huntington, WV.
Funeral Service will be held at 2 P.M. Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, OH, with Pastor Rob Hale officiating. Burial will follow the service at Crown City Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed to the family at ehallfuneralhome.com.
