Ernest E. Basenback's Obituary
Ernest Eugene Basenback, 96, of Proctorville, OH, passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2024, at home. He was born on October 12, 1927, in Huntington, WV, to the late Clarence and Almeda Harrison Basenback. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Iris Adkins Basenback; two sons, Ernest L. Basenback and Danny L. Basenback, and one daughter, Penny Sue Myers. He retired from AC&F Industries. He is survived by three sons, Terry, Steve, and Bruce Basenback; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren; two sisters, Bessie Lawson and Bernice Enix, and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family. Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, OH, with Pastor Sam Adkins, officiating. Burial will follow at Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, OH. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed to the family at ehallfuneralhome.com.
