In loving memory of Evelyn Joyce Johnson.
Evelyn Joyce Johnson, 49, of Huntington, WV, passed away on Friday, February 16, 2024, at her residence. Born on December 29, 1974, in Huntington, WV, she was the daughter of Joy Ann Adkins and the late Robert "Bobby" Lee Miller, Sr. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her son, Christopher Johnson, and her brother, Bobby Miller, J. and is meeting them in heaven. She is survived by her children, Zachary Johnson, Destiny Johnson, and Savannah Johnson; grandchildren, Mila Sydoriak, Lydia Johnson, and Iris Johnson, and her brother, Scott Sadler. Joyce was a very loving mother who would do absolutely anything for her kids and grand kids. Her heart was so warm, and her love touched all who knew her. She found joy in simple life pleasures like savoring biscuits and gravy, hot cappuccinos and honey buns with a twinkle in her eye. She would turn on her favorite music by Metallica, AC/DC, Def Leppard, or Bryan Adams to lift and brighten the mood. Her spirit would always light up the room with her big, beautiful smile and the sound of her laughter. Just hearing her voice automatically gave you the sweet feeling of peace and comfort. Her legacy of love, goofy sense of humor, delicious meals, and her strong solicitude, will forever be remembered and cherished by her family and friends. Joyce will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in our hearts. Until we see her again.
