Frances Louise McComas' Obituary
Frances Louise McComas, 87, of Ironton, Ohio formerly of Athalia, Ohio passed away Thursday, August 29, 2018 at Community Hospice Care Center, Ashland, Ky. She was born September 27, 1930 in Lawrence County, Ohio daughter of the late Arnold and Alice Webb McComas. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister, Thelma Mae McComas, and six brothers, Lawrence, James, Ronald, Donald, John and Thomas McComas; nephew Mark Cade; and niece Janice McComas Jameson. She retired from Owens-Illinois. She is survived by three sisters, Mary McCarley of South Point, Ohio, Freda (Orville) Kidder of Kissimmee, FL and Susan Cade of South Point, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Schneider-Hall Funeral Home, Chesapeake, Ohio with Father Charles Moran officiating. Burial will follow in Getaway Cemetery, Chesapeake, Ohio. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
