Freddie Joe Morrison's Obituary
Freddie Joe Morrison, 90, of Largo, Florida, formerly of Huntington, WV, passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at the Suncoast Hospice Care Center in Pinellas, Florida. Born on June 5, 1934, in Cabell County, WV, he was the son of the late Frederick and Olive Adkins Morrison. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sons, Tim Morrison and Freddie Morrison II; sisters, BJ Morrison, Doris Hedrick, Fran Burrell, and brother, Richard Morrison. Freddie is survived by his wife of 40 years, Barbara Morrison; children, Donna (Ralph) Chaney, Becky (Gregg) Hedrick, Mary (Frank) Norton, Jerry (Roseann) Morrison, Mark (Marybeth) Morrison, Vicki (Jody) Queen, Charles (Donnalee) Matthews, Harl (Devi) Matthews, and Dana Matthews; sisters, Nancy (Rodney) Shim, beloved niece Jacki Rice; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. A Memorial Celebration will be held 1 p.m. Sunday, March 9, 2025 at St. Cloud Commons Lodge, Huntington, WV.
