Frederick L Aylsworth's Obituary
FREDERICK L. "FRED" AYLSWORTH, 72, of South Point, OH, died Wednesday, October 09, 2013, after a short illness, at his residence surrounded by family. Fred was born October 24, 1940, in Emporium, PA, a son of the late Frederick and Thelma Linzy Aylsworth. He was a self-employed custodian having worked in several area businesses and was a US Army Korean War veteran. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Donald Heath; one sister, Barbara Meachem; and one granddaughter, Heather Brooke Aylsworth. Fred is survived by his wife of 49 years, Joyce Thomas Aylsworth; six children, Lisa Leigh (William) Henry, Frederick T. (Melanie) Aylsworth, Rachel C. (Shawn) Wellman, Michael L. (Michelle) Aylsworth, Jason H. (Nickey Spry) Aylsworth, and Leah D. (Andy) Wheeler; two sisters, Shirley Epps and Beverly Heaton; 13 grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. The family would like to say thank you to family and friends for their love and concern. The family requests that there be no flowers and please send a contribution to the American Cancer Society. There will be a memorial service 1 PM Saturday, October 12, 2013, at Ironton Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1604 Campbell Drive, Ironton, OH 45638.
