Gary Robert Gillette, 78, of Proctorville, Ohio, passed away Friday July 21, 2023 at St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington, WV. He was born November 7, 1944 in Huntington, WV. He was preceded in death by his father Paul Gillette; grandmother Nellie Bowen; aunt Lanier Scarberry; and three step-children Scotty, Toby, and Tosh. He is survived by his wife Dreama Huff Gillette; two children Gary Robert Gillette II (Tevin) and Kathleen Marie Gillette; grandchildren Robert William Easterling, Annika Josephine Bruce, Alec David Bruce, and Greyson Robert Gillette; special friends Brian Root and Carl Bowen; and the congregation at Cedar Street Baptist Church Proctorville. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Monday July 24, 2023 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. Visitation will be held 1 to 2 p.m. Monday July 24, 2023 at the funeral home.
