Gary Cooper Lange's Obituary
Gary Cooper Lange, 84, of Proctorville, OH, passed away on October 16, 2025, at Sanctuary of Ohio Valley in Ironton, OH. Born on April 11, 1941, in Reedsburg, Wisconsin, he was the son of the late Cooper and Ruth Lopis Lange. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jo Ann Royce. Gary was a retired U.S. Navy Veteran who served in Vietnam and was a member of First Baptist Church in Proctorville, OH. He is survived by his sons, Gary Lange Jr., of Proctorville, OH, and John (Tracy) Lange of Proctorville, OH; grandsons, J.B. Lange, Michael (Andrea) Lange, and Andy Lange; 3 great-grandchildren, Samuel, Mason, and Maddie; brothers, Doug Lange, Jim Lange, and Dan Lange; sister, Julie Lange, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, October 24, 2025, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, OH, with Pastor Jeff Black, officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Rome Cemetery in Proctorville, OH. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Wounded Warrior Project at Donor Care Center, P.O. Box 758541, Topeka, Kansas, 66675.
