Gary A. Rice's Obituary
Gary A. Rice, 62, of Chesapeake, OH, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, KY. He was born March 16, 1963, in Huntington, WV, to the late Ernest and Myrtle Bartrum Rice. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his two brothers Herb and Butch Rice and sister Shelby Clark. He is survived by his three sons Gary Rice, Shawn Rice and Richie Rice; one daughter Shelly Dickson and their mother Kathy Rice; nine grandchildren; two sisters Carol Booth, Anita Carey; one brother Jeff Rice; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 11 A.M. Friday, March 6, 2026, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, OH. Burial will follow at Rome Cemetery in Proctorville, OH.
