Geneva A. Watson's Obituary
Geneva A. Watson, 83, of Willow Wood, OH, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 31, 2025, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington, WV. Born on September 2, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Stewart and Ida Ellen Wilson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Richard “Duke” Watson; brother, Vernon Wilson, and sister, Ruth Malone. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Richard Watson, whom she married on February 28, 1959; daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley (Dale) Sexton of Ironton, OH, and Becky (Lloyd) Shuff of Willow Wood; sister, Rena (Bernard) Watson of Scottown, OH; grandkids, Missy LeGrand of Ironton, OH, Randy Ferguson of Willow Wood, OH, Corey Watson of Scottown, OH, and Cassie Watson of Willow Wood, OH; 6 great-grandkids, Breanna Jones of Cincinnati, OH, Hannah Jones of Willow Wood, OH, Landon Nick Watson of Scottown, OH, Jordan Nance of Willow Wood, OH, Kyle Vallance of Cincinnati, OH, and special thanks to Amy Mart for her helping care of Mom.
