George "Donnie" Donald Murphy, Jr.'s Obituary
George Donald "Donnie" Murphy Jr., 68, of Proctorville, OH, passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington, WV. He was born April 7, 1954 to the late George Sr. and Glendene Justice Murphy. Donnie was a retired Brick Mason and a member of First Baptist Church in Proctorville, OH. He was an avid race car fan and loved the beach. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Wagner. He is survived by his loving wife, Pam Murphy; two daughters, Jessica (Josh) Bennett and Ashley Murphy; four grandchildren, Jaydon, Jaley, and Macie Murphy and Levi Bennett; three great grandchildren Adriel, Wesley and Sylvia Jo; one brother, Greg (Wendy) Murphy; one sister, Debbie Murphy; several nieces and nephews and special friends, Don & Jackson Morrison. There will be a funeral service held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 26, 2023 at Hall Funeral Home & Crematory in Proctorville, OH with Pastor Jeff Black officiating. Burial will follow at Rome Cemetery.
