George Timothy "Tim" Hewitt, 80, passed away Thursday, June 4, 2026, in KDMC, Ashland, KY. Tim was born January 26, 1946, in Ironton, OH son of the late Frances and Betty Cutlip Hewitt. Along with his parents, He was preceded in death by his wife Linda Gayle Hewitt; one daughter Cindy Kaye Bostick; one son William Darryll Hewitt; one sister Becky Miller Jackson; and one brother Francis Marion Hewitt. Tim worked for Marshall University, the Semet-Solvary Co. and Rome Church of Christ. He is survived by one sister Leah Rae Eicher (Raymond); one granddaughter Leah Grace Hewitt; one grandson Dustin Bostick; one stepdaughter Toni Meade; one stepson Ernest Sean Maynard; two sisters in law Penny Jessup and Carol Brown Cliff.
