George Melvin Thompson, Jr's Obituary
George Melvin Thompson, Jr., 63, of Louisa, Ky passed away Thursday, June 20, 2019 at Cornerstone Hospital, Huntington, WV. He was born November 30, 1955 in Fairmont, WV son of the late George, Sr and Mary Argriro Thompson. He is survived by his wife Sue Ann Henderson Thompson; two children Brandon Thompson of Berea, Ky and Jenna Compton (Ramsey) of Louisa, Ky; three grandchildren Satya Thompson, Finn Compton and Theo Compton; and one brother Robert Thompson of Morgantown, WV. He worked as a Roadmaster for CSX Railroad. A celebration of life service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Lighthouse Freewill Baptist Church in Louisa, Ky with Rev. Jim Bevins officiating. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio is assisting the family with arrangements. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.ehallfuneralhome.com.
