Geraldine Woodyard's Obituary
Mrs. Geraldine Woodyard, 82, of Proctorville, OH, passed away on Tuesday November 1, 2022 at River Run Nursing Home in Coal Grove, OH. She was born October 21, 1940 in Cabell County, WV to the late David and Sadie Blair. She was a graduate of Chesapeake High School. She later worked as a press operator at Corbin's for many years. She enjoyed gardening, knitting and JUMBLE puzzles. Geraldine was a resident of McCall Creek Road for many years. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Jimmy Mac Woodyard; son, Roger Woodyard (Debra Evans); grandchildren, Robert Woodyard (Natalie), Steven Woodyard (Renee), Melissa Woodyard and a host of great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her twin brother, Gerald "Buster" Blair and sister, Ruth Aulene Parnell. Geraldine was cared for by her former daughter in law, Tammy Rucker, who stayed by her side till the very end. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will miss her dearly. Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday November 8, 2022 at Hall Funeral Home & Crematory in Proctorville OH. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
