Gilbert F “Dennis” Richards, 61, of South Point, OH, passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2020. He was born on September 2, 1959 a son to the late Willie Hardman and Hazel Robinson Hardman of Point Pleasant, WV. He is preceded in death by his late wife, Patricia A. Richards, and two sisters Barbara Black and Bonnie Thompson. He is survived by his children Billow (Corey) Salmons, Amanda (Chris Pethtel), Dennis (Jennifer) Richards, and Linda Hostetler; 14 grandchildren Kayla Smith, Hailee, Kiara, and Olivia Salmons; Eric and Zach Mencke; Logan, Maraela and Elliott Pethtel; Tiffany Cummings; Austin and Eli Richards; Elias and Ava Hostetler; and a special friend Clifford McGlone. Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, OH with Pastor Chuck McCormick officiating. Burial will follow at Crescent Hill Cemetery, Ceredo, WV. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
