Gina Collins' Obituary
Gina Collins, 60, of South Point, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 26, 2026, while in the loving care of SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth, Ohio, with her devoted brother, Brett, by her side, holding her hand. Born on June 8, 1966, in Huntington, West Virginia, Gina was the beloved daughter of the late Fred Collins and Ora Ashworth Collins. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Tonya Eaves and Cheryl Noble, and her son, Caleb Smith. Gina leaves behind one surviving son, Joshua Smith; her brothers, Brett Collins and Travis Collins; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends who will cherish her memory. Gina was truly one of a kind a free spirit with a heart full of kindness and a smile that could light up any room. She had a vibrant personality that was larger than life, a warm presence that made everyone feel welcome, and was known for her beautiful hair and infectious laughter. Her compassion, generous heart, and joyful spirit touched the lives of everyone who knew her. Though she will be deeply missed, Gina’s memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. Her love, laughter, and light will never be forgotten.
