Glen W Gillispie's Obituary
Glen W. Gillispie, 67 of Proctorville, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2018 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, WV. Glen was born on June 21, 1951 in Marytown, WV to the late Clarence Gillispie and Betty Franklin Gillispie of South Point, Ohio. Glen is survived by his wife of 42 years, Judy Fuller Gillispie; his brother Eddie (Karen) Gillispie of Proctorville Ohio; brother Clarence Gillispie( Junior ) of South Point , Ohio; two nephews, Todd (Tonja) Gillispie of Proctorville, Ohio and a special nephew Nathan Gillispie who Glen loved dearly. Glen was a 1969 graduate of South Point High School. He was a 4 year veteran of the US Air Force. Glen was employed as a selector, until it’s shut down, at Owens Illinois Glass Factory in Huntington, WV, where he was known by his nickname of Stretch. Before his illness he loved to take long rides on his motorcycle. He loved the outdoors and taking his dog on long walks and hiking. He was a long time season ticket holder of Marshall Football, which he enjoyed with his brother Eddie. Glen will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Visitation will be Saturday, Nov. 24, 2018 from 1:00 -2:00 pm at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio.
