Glen Ray Wilks 1936 - 2016
Glen Ray Wilks, 79, of Huntington, WV passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at home. He was born December 7, 1936 in Lawrence County, Ohio son of the late Charlie and Mary “Tarp” Fuller Wilks. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Rosemary Wilks and infant daughter Vickie Kay Wilks. He is survived by one son Ricky Wilks; one daughter Terri (Mike) Wellman; three grandsons Corey Wilks, Nathan Wellman and Tyler (Kelli) Wellman; one brother Tom Wilks; one brother-in-law Glen (Irebella) Patterson; and many nieces, nephews, family, and special friends at the office. He attended Westmoreland Baptist Church and was owner/operator of Charlie Grocery and Wilks Grocery. Funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio. Visitation will be held 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, November 3, 2016 at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall.
